Gentle, honest support for the parent you're becoming.

Rooted Intention: 1:1 Session
Parent/Caregivers
A 1:1 session with me isn’t about being told what to do - it’s about being deeply seen, heard, and supported.
Together, we’ll create a calm, non-judgmental space where you can bring the real stuff: the questions, the doubts, the “am I doing this right?” moments, and the parenting challenges that keep showing up. Whether you're navigating daily dysregulation, tough behaviours, lingering guilt, or a desire to parent differently than you were parented, our time together is a chance to slow down and make sense of what’s going on - beneath the surface.
Our work is collaborative and tailored to you. That might include:
-
Making sense of your child’s behaviour through a trauma- and attachment-informed lens
-
Exploring what’s happening in your nervous system as a parent or caregiver
-
Co-creating strategies that feel doable, respectful, and aligned with your values
-
Working through moments of rupture and repair in your parent-child relationship
-
Learning how to regulate yourself so you can support your child in co-regulation
-
Exploring your own story and how it shows up in parenting today
You won’t leave with a checklist - you’ll leave with clarity, connection, and tools that feel rooted in you.
No “perfect parent” pressure - just real talk, relational insight, and gentle accountability to the intentions you want to parent from.
Whether you’re in the thick of it or just looking to parent with more purpose, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
I’ll meet you right where you are.
Rooted Self
Teen/Young Adult Sessions
Life can feel really loud sometimes.
Between school, friendships, family, social media, expectations, and trying to figure out who you are, it can feel like you're carrying a lot. You might not always know how to explain what you're feeling.. and that's okay!
This is a space where you don't have to have it all together.
Together, we'll slow things down, make sense of what's been weighing on you, and explore what you need to feel more grounded, connected, and confident in yourself. Whether you're navigating anxiety, friendships, family conflict, self-esteem, neurodivergence, or simply trying to understand yourself better, we'll work at a pace that feels right for you.
Our sessions are shaped around your unique experience. That might include:
-
Exploring emotions without judgment
-
Learning tools to manage stress, anxiety, and overwhelm
-
Building confidence and self-compassion
-
Strengthening relationships and communication
-
Understanding your brain through a neurodiversity-affirming lens
-
Processing difficult experiences with safety and support
-
Discovering what matters most to you and who you're becoming
This isn't about becoming a different version of yourself. It's about understanding yourself more deeply, trusting your own voice, and feeling empowered to move through life in a way that feels authentic to you.
No pressure to have all the answers. No expectation to be "fixed." Just a space where you can show up as yourself and know you don't have to figure it all out alone.
Come as you are. We'll figure it out together.

Rooted Beginnings Parent/Child Sessions
Supportive, in-the-moment guidance for emotional connection, co-regulation, and confidence.
Rooted Beginnings - Parent & Child Sessions are designed to help you and your child navigate big feelings - together. These sessions offer a safe, supportive space where we gently build emotional awareness, regulation skills, and secure connection through real-time learning and interaction.
Unlike traditional counselling or therapy, these sessions are rooted in mentorship and psychoeducation. As your child explores their emotions through play, conversation, or activities, I work alongside you - offering insight into what’s really going on beneath the behaviour, and guiding you in the moment with simple, responsive ways to support your child.
You’ll gain:
-
A deeper understanding of your child’s emotional needs and nervous system responses
-
Real-time mentorship in how to co-regulate and respond without escalating
-
Gentle language and tools to use in those “stuck” or overwhelming moments
-
Practical, developmentally-informed strategies you can carry into daily life
-
Increased confidence in your role as a calm, connected presence
These sessions are perfect for caregivers who want to move from frustration or uncertainty to confidence and connection without pressure to “fix” or be perfect.
Come as you are. Together, we’ll build the skills and insight to move through big emotions with more ease and understanding- one session at a time.
Investment
I believe that everyone deserves access to compassionate, meaningful support - and that finances shouldn't be the only factor in deciding whether to reach out.
To help make counselling more accessible, I offer a limited number of sliding scale appointments for individuals and families experiencing financial barriers. Sliding scale fees are discussed on a case-by-case basis and are based on your current financial circumstances.
If you're interested in working together but have concerns about affordability, please don't hesitate to reach out. We can have an open conversation and explore an option that feels fair, respectful, and sustainable for both of us.
Session Fees
90-minute (initial) session: $175
60-minute (ongoing) session: $165
Insurance Coverage
Counselling services are provided by Kaili Warmington-Land, CYCP, under the clinical supervision of a Registered Social Worker (RSW).
Some extended health benefit plans may reimburse services provided under this supervision arrangement. Because every insurance plan is different, I encourage you to contact your provider before your first appointment to confirm your individual coverage.
When speaking with your insurance provider, you may wish to ask:
-
Does my plan cover counselling services provided under the clinical supervision of a Registered Social Worker (RSW)?
-
Is a physician's referral required?
-
What documentation is needed to submit a claim?
-
Are there annual or per-session reimbursement limits?
-
Clients are responsible for confirming their own insurance coverage and submitting claims directly to their insurance provider.
If you have any questions about fees, receipts, or the information required for insurance claims, I'm always happy to help.
